Domestic producers, who see this fair as the last opportunity of the year to open up to alternative markets and create new export channels, and foreign investors who want to turn the increase in foreign currency into a highly profitable purchasing advantage flocked to ZUCHEX 2018. Spreading over an area of 120 thousand square meters in Tüyap Beylikdüzü, the fair was visited by 25641 domestic and 4142 international professionals. The 30th meeting of ZUCHEX, attended by 474 companies from the household and kitchenware sector, will be held on 12-15 September 2019.

Evaluating the International ZUCHEX 2018, Tarsus Turkey General Manager Zekeriya Aytemur said that according to the participant and visitor feedback they received throughout the organization, they left behind a very beneficial fair in every way. Emphasizing that all the remaining ZUCHEX fairs broke the domestic and international visitor records, Aytemur said; “This fair has become a hope for the Turkish Home and Kitchenware Industry, which aims to export 4.5 billion dollars in 2018. We saw that the pessimistic atmosphere in the sector dissipated and was replaced by confidence and the excitement of new trade opportunities. We always emphasize that the fairs are an important lifeline by opening business volume, trade opportunities and new sales channels to the sectors they address, especially in periods when the domestic market is shrinking and the economy is stagnant. At ZUCHEX 2018, we experienced this one-on-one. In the next three years, as in this fair, we aim to double the number of foreign visitors, mostly large buyers, and to create more added value for the sector.”
